Toys R Us and Babies R Us South Africa are seeking a Business Systems & Integration Analyst to join their IT department in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. This permanent role supports both IT and business operations by managing system documentation, gathering requirements, developing reports and dashboards, automating workflows, and integrating enterprise systems. The position is designed to evolve into a senior role, contributing to the company’s digital transformation and data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments, support implementations, and travel to stores and offices across South Africa and neighboring countries.

Responsibilities

Map and maintain IT systems and processes in ITGlue and SharePoint
Develop dashboards and reports in Qlik Sense and Power BI
Build workflows and apps in PowerApps and PowerAutomate and assist with SharePoint customization
Support ERP (Retail Directions), POS, ecommerce (Magento), ACS Payment Services, APIs and SQL queries
Participate in rollouts, testing, training and change management
Progress toward senior responsibilities in reporting, solution design and enterprise systems integration
Participate in a scheduled standby roster for evenings and weekends
Work onsite two Saturdays per month as scheduled by the Head of IT
Travel to stores and offices within South Africa and neighboring countries to support implementations, integrations and training

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
0–2 years’ experience in IT, development or business systems (internships considered)
Strong analytical skills with exposure to SQL, Excel and BI tools
Interest in automation, integrations and enterprise systems
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Power Platform or BI tools advantageous
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to travel regularly for store or site projects and support
